Union Bethel AME Church
in Randallstown has adopted Winand Elementary School, as
well. A long term grant, of which they are the
recipient, will be used to support an after school program
at Winand beginning in September 2007. This program is
intended to assist students in developing the skills to be
proficient on the MSA,
The
Masons of Howard County have
also adopted our school. Their members volunteered on
numerous occasions throughout this past school year. They
served as readers on Primary Reading Day, judges at our STEM
Fair and volunteered during Field Day helping to make each
event a huge success.
