Winand's new principal, Wanda Better-Davis, hales from Wadesboro, North Carolina.  She received her education from University of DC, Virginia Commonwealth University and from Morgan State University.  Prior to her new appointment, Ms. Better-Davis served as the assistant to the Area Academic Officer (AAO) in the Baltimore City Public Schools.  Her tenure with the city also included teacher, assistant principal, principal and EA (AAO's Assistant.)

Winand welcomes Ms. Better- Davis as principal.

Additionally, Winand also extends a warm welcome to new assistant principal, Ms. Tyest Gant.
